UPLIFT NEEDS VOLUNTEERS!

Thank you for checking out our volunteer opportunities. Scroll down to find out more about Uplift and what volunteer opportunities exist!

The video playing here is footage from our previous Uplift event. As you can see, this is NOT “Zoom School”

What Is Uplift?

Uplift is a virtual event which typically covers 4 days, 4.5 hours each day. The content was developed by the minds behind Youth Era, a Eugene based youth nonprofit. Uplift is also researched and supported by the University of Oxford, funded by the Oregon Health Authority and recommended by the Oregon Department of Education.

We are seeking volunteers to help assist us as Uplift grows. You bring the passion (and ideally some previous experience) and we will provide you with all the training you’ll need to be a successful volunteer.

WHO WOULD BE A GREAT VOLUNTEER?

  • People who have lived experience with issues youth face today (LGBTQ, mental health, addiction, eating disorders, etc)

  • People who have experience in virtual trainings as presenters or tech support

  • People with experience working with or volunteering with youth (ages 14-19 are our target audience)

  • College students who are studying psychology, social work, or education

  • Anyone who has a passion for shaping the lives of young people and is willing to learn and participate
